Ace Ventura 3: Returns (2025) – Teaser Trailer

Ace Ventura 3: Lost in Time (2025) begins with Ace enjoying a quiet life in a remote animal sanctuary, determined to stay out of trouble after years of chaotic adventures. However, peace never lasts long for Ace. When a rare and ancient species of tortoise mysteriously disappears from a high-security research facility, the government seeks Ace’s help, knowing he is the only one unpredictable enough to solve a case that defies all logic. Though he hesitates at first, Ace’s love for animals pushes him to take the mission.

As Ace investigates, he discovers strange energy readings around the crime scene and a bizarre, glowing device left behind. Before he can make sense of it, the device activates, pulling Ace through a temporal vortex that lands him in the distant past. Confused but thrilled, Ace quickly learns that the tortoise is part of an ancient prophecy and has been stolen by a villainous time-traveler who wants to control the future by altering the animal kingdom’s evolution. With his usual dramatic flair, Ace vows to retrieve the creature and restore the timeline.

Ace finds himself navigating prehistoric jungles filled with dinosaurs, where he uses his eccentric methods to communicate with creatures that would normally see him as lunch. Along the way, he befriends a young, curious raptor that becomes his loyal companion. Their unlikely bond adds humor and heart to the adventure as they dodge natural disasters, rival predators, and bizarre technological traps left by the time-traveling thief.

The chase leads Ace to ancient civilizations, where he must blend in using hilariously inaccurate disguises while deciphering clues about the tortoise’s location. His interactions with early human tribes result in chaotic misunderstandings, yet his ability to connect with animals helps him earn their trust. As Ace uncovers the villain’s plan, he realizes that the tortoise’s unique DNA holds the key to manipulating the natural order of history itself.

Ace eventually confronts the time-traveler inside a massive temporal fortress hidden within a volcanic crater. A wild battle unfolds between Ace, his dinosaur allies, and the villain’s futuristic machines. With a mix of slapstick luck and surprising cleverness, Ace manages to outwit the thief and rescue the tortoise just as the fortress collapses around them.

Returning to the present through another time portal, Ace restores the timeline and becomes an accidental hero once again. Though scientists try to thank him formally, Ace slips away, riding off with a flock of birds trailing behind him. The film closes with Ace grinning at the camera, hinting that the universe still has plenty of strange animal mysteries waiting just for him.
